Ok... I've come to realize that I really am not good at anything important... so I must be destined to do something involving music (since I play/listen to it about 15/24/7/365 [366 leap year]) I've never skipped a day of practice or something involving bass, so that must be some where around 3 and 1.5/3 years of everyday playing. I know you are good at math, so you count the total days. I also realized "haukuna matata" when it comes to being in a band working with other people. It's impossible to be completely satisfied. I mean, Im so fucking picky so I'm never satisfied for long. Im going for my license sometime next week or so maybe. My mom wants to sign me up on a weekend which is dumb as hell cause there is so many minorities at the DMV so its annoying to work around everyone. So that means as soon as I get my license Im gonna be hearing "When are you gonna get an electrical job" Time moves way too fast for a person wayyy too slow. Also, I don't know what the fuck is up with this justin kid... hes all friendly one day and wants to start an 80's style band, but then the next day hes all stupid and just pokes fun at everything. I've been listening to alot of Emerson, Lake, and Palmer (ELP) recently, I'm surprised I let such a legendary band fly over my head. Some of the strangest shit written in 4/4. I really have to start reading that Buddhism book. I wish I had more time to think about music today. Oh well. Rainer landfermann didn't respond to my email and that disappoints me. Back from a tour with Powerman 5000 my ass... I love Japan, but I hate you. I can't stand people who lie in the music business.
Battle of the bands was awesome, we pretty much PWND all the other bands (in a musicians sense). I can't wait to see the footage, and possibly get it on youtube.com or google video. Glad to see Dan Andreé is still the best musician in Saucon Valley. I think I need a break from all the music and shit... tomorrow I'm just looking foward to watching that Dream Theater DVD and taking a late night bike ride around town or something. I feel pretty much fucked for the future once again. | | |
